Vicky Longomba (May 13, 1949 – March 29, 2010) was a prominent Congolese singer and guitarist. He was born in the city of Brazzaville, Congo, and became well-known as a member of the popular Congolese band TPOK Jazz in the 1970s and 1980s. Vicky Longomba was one of the pioneers of the soukous music genre, and his contributions to Congolese music were crucial in its development and evolution. He was a versatile musician, and his innovative guitar playing and soulful singing helped to shape the sound of the genre. Longomba's career spanned over four decades, during which he produced several hit songs and albums. He died in Paris in 2010, at the age of 60.
